Article 15 is movie that can really disclose the Indian caste system and its breeders in the very first glance . its shows though living in the same country,same religion but are so much apart. Acc. to the movie An IPS officer(police) posted to a village in eastern UP(Uttar Pradesh) there is a small village which is fairly diverse ,though all are Hindus but of different caste . The lowest caste shown in the movie is of Dalits . Dalits is a community which is shown to be doing the dirtiest job possible in the village and all around the region, the are treated miserably and are given very low wages absolutely nothing for there work and also to keep them suppressed and destroyed .One such case happens where three girls are missing and ther search s not taken seriously . The police officer is a kind man who wants do something but being persuadded by the other cops saying that these cases happen in the village on regular bases and the victims usually return after 3-4 days .The police station is alarmed by the news that 2 of the 3 girls have been found hanged on the tree in the near forest. The ips officer feels responsible and stars investigation .Though he is working is head to toes for finding the remaining girl and the culprits but it seems like under his command some cops are corrupted and are more interested in saving the culprits than catching them . They also threaten the doctor who is examining the bodies of the to hanged girls to make false postmortem report. But the assistant doctor remembers her duty and give thetrue repor to the ips officer The report says,’ the victims were raped for many days and were hanged alive ” the ips becomes furiated and pledge to not leave a single culprit…… as the story moves onn the things become clearer and whole motive is being uncurled.
Those 3 dalits girls were asking the culprit man for a wage hike of 3 rupees and when there demand are not met they left the job, but the contractor don’t like this , so he kidnap these girls rape them and kill them to send the message to all the community about there status…
The third girl is found and name the culprits which consists of not only the contractors but also 2 police officers …. the all are in jail know and are regretting destroying peoples life….
I don’t understand why are people concerned about status and religion though all of us are children of God and after dying all of us has to get mixed together in the sand and all become one.So please respect people ,spread love and enjoy life to fulliest
